Tim Erickson, 74, of Kamiah, Idaho, passed away of natural causes at his residence on September 12, 2026, while working outside on his property. He was born on November 11, 1951, in St. Anthony, Idaho to Howard and Frona (Rawls) Erickson.

Tim was a man of many talents who wore many hats throughout his life. His work and skills included beekeeping, farming, oil refining, and many other pursuits that reflected both his versatility and his strong work ethic. He found great joy in the pursuit of knowledge and was known as a kind man with a great sense of humor. He loved learning new skills and became a go-to person for solving conundrums, offering both practical wisdom and a wealth of knowledge to those around him.
He enjoyed woodworking, working as a mechanic, being outdoors, and taking roads just to see where they led. Tim also took pleasure in finding the perfect carrot cake and in creating places where friends and family could gather. Of all the roles he held in life, the ones he cherished most were those of father and grandfather, which he counted among his proudest accomplishments. Above all, he loved his family most of all.
Tim was blessed with two loves in his life, Kim Newman and his wife, Peggy Erickson. He was preceded in death by Peggy; his father, Howard Erickson; his mother, Frona Erickson; and his sister, Shonnie Evans.
He is survived by his children Angie, Ruby, Davin, Bonnie, and bonus daughter Chelbi. He is also survived by his sons-in-law Chris, Will, Kenneth, and Ronnie. His family continued to grow through his grandchildren, Jaiden, Emily, Rachael, Ashley, Kyle, AnneMarie, Bella, Lily, and Parker, and through his great-grandchildren, Eli, Olivia, and Liam. He leaves behind a family who will carry forward his humor, his curiosity, his knowledge, and the deep love he gave so freely.
Tim Erickson will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of learning, his generosity in sharing what he knew, and the welcoming spaces he created for the people he loved. His memory will remain a lasting blessing to his family and friends.
