Patrisha Lou Smith (Pennman), 82, of Stites, Idaho, passed away on October 8, 2026, at Clearwater Health and Rehab in Orofino, Idaho. She was born on January 20, 1944, in Pennsylvania.

Patrisha was a kind woman with strong family values, a heart of gold, and a good sense of humor. She graduated from high school and went on to earn some college credits. Over the years, she worked in bookkeeping and accounting, bringing care and dedication to her work.

Outside of work, Patrisha found joy in the simple and lasting things she loved. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, rock collecting, and reading books. These interests reflected her patient nature and the thoughtful way she moved through life. She especially loved her children and grandchildren, and her proudest accomplishments were becoming a mother and grandmother.

Family was at the center of Patrisha’s life. She is survived by her children, April, Cindy, Bethany, and Sam; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Their bond with her was a deep and important part of her life, and her love for them remained constant. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

Patrisha will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, and the love she gave to her family. Her memory will live on in the lives of those who knew her and in the many quiet, meaningful ways she made life better for the people she loved.
