Evelyn Hendren

Evelyn passed peacefully in her sleep at home on August 31, 2019 at the age of 92. Evelyn was born July 13, 1927 in Haynes, North Dakota to Charles and Mabel Weisbeck. On December 22, 1944 she married Thomas Hendren in Asotin, Washington. Together they raised five sons on a cattle ranch in the Crane Hill area near Kooskia, Idaho. Her husband Tom passed away January 12, 1982. Her whole life she enjoyed visiting with her family and friends, gardening, crocheting, and making quilts for her loved ones. On October 27, 1989 she married Owen Johnson. He passed away March 30, 1993. She is survived by her five sons David of Lapwai, Elbert and Janet of Kamiah, Jeff, Tom and Fred of Kooskia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her three sisters Delores Breen of Nampa, Lucille Conard of Spokane, Wa. and Hazel Paul of Kooskia; a brother Ray and Donna Weisbeck of Ellensburg, Wa. A Graveside Funeral will be held 10:00 am Saturday September 7, 2019 at Pinegrove Cemetery.
