Elsie Bower died April 6th, 2016 at her home in Kamiah, Idaho after a recent diagnosis of cancer.
Elsie was born in Hanna, Alberta, Canada on August 9th, 1935. She was raised in Headquarters, Idaho and graduated from Pierce High School.
She married Frank Bower on March 28th, 1954 and the couple had just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Elsie was a member of the First Protestant Church in Pierce, and the VFW ladies auxiliary. She was a homemaker who loved flowers, gardening, making quilts, crocheting, reading her bible and other church related activities.
Elsie is survived by her husband, 5 children, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. A graveside service was held at the Kamiah cemetery Wednesday, April 13th, 2016 at 2pm with her nephew Lee Bonner, officiating. Her family wishes to thank the Syringa Hospice nurses, and their many friends, neighbors, and relatives who have given so much support and assistance over this last month.
