It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny Harold Dotson on October 28, 2023. Danny was born on March 8, 1959, in Summersville, West Virginia to the late Clifford and Virgina Dotson.

Danny's love for the great outdoors led him to a career in the lumber industry, where he worked as a welder, logger, and a forest ranger and took great pride in his work. He was a hardworking and dedicated individual, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Outside of work, Danny had a love for adventure and outdoor activities. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and 4-wheeling. His favorite moments were spent with his family, making cherished memories during family gatherings and playing with his beloved grandson, Teddy.

Danny will be remembered as an energetic, caring, and funny person who had the remarkable ability to bring a smile to everyone's face. His infectious laughter and positive outlook on life made everyday moments all the more special.

He leaves behind a loving family to treasure his memory. He is survived by his devoted wife Kathleen Dotson, his beloved mother Virgina Dotson, his children Daniel and Danielle Dotson, his grandson Teddy Dotson, his sisters Diana Clover and Rhonda Farman, and other extended family members.

Following his wishes, Danny will be cremated, and a celebration of his life and the scattering of his ashes will be held November 25, 2023 at 12-2pm.

The world has lost a remarkable soul, but Danny's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, forever surrounded by the beauty of nature he held so dear.
